Effective 01 January 2009, DHL Express will revise the Remote AreaService fee. The charge will be AED 1.60 per kg with a minimum of AED 75.00 per shipment delivered or picked up from a remote area. These include shipments sent from the United Arab Emirates to remote locations and/or for shipments imported into the United Arab Emirates from remote areas.

Rest assured that our charges remain fair and reasonable and only apply to locations that are outside our normal delivery and pick up area. With DHL?s vast network and infrastructure, it is also good to know that less than 0.1% of DHL UAE shipments are currently delivered to and from remote locations.
